In a recent project, we enhanced security across multiple campuses of a leading Australian university educating more than 50,000 students. This effort involved deploying Cisco wireless products, boosting network coverage, security, and reliability both indoors and outdoors – to cater to their students’ studying flexibility.

The Outcomex team proceeded to provide wi-fi which was notably secure in comparison to previous installations, as well as updating their Cisco NAC. All of these new updates helped boost the user experience – exceeding their internet facilities – by also improving their in-house applications, external student devices, and IoT sensors.

Not only was the university’s wireless environment improved, but updating their IoT sensors also enabled staff to monitor foot traffic and track asset locations, reducing the risk of theft. This allowed our team to address both cybersecurity and physical security effectively.
