This year’s event in Melbourne saw our team flying in from across Australia and beyond, including colleagues from South Africa and New Zealand — ready to make an impact! The conference kicked off with the much-anticipated Cisco Keynote, offering insights into how AI is revolutionising not just the tech industry, but everyday life as well. From optimising operations to enhancing daily experiences, the future has never looked so intelligent — or exciting! 

One of the exciting moments for us was seeing our very own IoT Practice Lead, Luca Palermo, and Collaboration Practice Lead, Barry Fialkov, take the stage to present a keynote on AI in IoT. Luca’s insights on how artificial intelligence is transforming IoT solutions, and how Cisco collaboration products can be integrated into IoT. The presentation was thought-provoking and inspiring, showcasing how these advancements are driving smarter, more connected systems across industries for a seamless collaboration experience. Interested in learning more about this? Our engineers truly stole the spotlight, snatching victory at the Capture the Flag competition! Their skills and expertise shone as they navigated complex challenges, showcasing why Outcomex remains a leader in innovation and engineering. Our team was victorious with three of our engineers placing first, second and third at the competition! 

Back at our expo, there certainly was a buzz in the air! The bag tags, a fan favourite, were back, and this year, we turned up the fun with AI-generated Lego selfies! Attendees loved creating personalised tags, which were complete with quirky and clever slogans.

Our hammer game, with its rhythmic clangs, drew curious passersby who couldn’t resist testing their strength—and sometimes their patience! It was more than a game; it was a conversation starter, a community builder, and a dose of light-hearted competition. 

Our annual Customer Appreciation Event at The Albion Rooftop was a neon dream come true. Guests enjoyed a vibrant evening with glowing accents everywhere: neon balloons, luminous sunglasses, and even glow sticks that kept the night alive. Cisco Live is always a highlight of the year, but this one felt particularly special. From engaging with industry leaders to celebrating milestones with our team and clients, we left inspired and ready to continue innovating and we certainly went beyond.
