On Thursday, 8^th of August, our entire team from across Australia and New Zealand, and even our international staff, gathered for an unforgettable EOFY celebration in Sydney! We kicked the day off at the stunning Ivy Ballroom in Sydney CBD, where we were treated to inspiring keynotes and presentations. The event was made even more enjoyable with delicious food and great conversations. 

But the fun didn’t stop there! We continued the festivities at Cabana Bar, enjoying drinks, Mexican-style canapés, and thrilling VR carnival games. 

As the Outcomex team wraps up our EOFY2023-24 celebrations and the camaraderie built by getting together as an entire team, let’s take a moment to reflect on the incredible achievements of the past year.

Our Awards and Achievements

The Outcomex team has achieved a lot this year, we are proud of the awards we have obtained during EOFY2023-24.

Outcomex has remained resilient and delivered results over the past year, despite the challenges experienced within our industry. By focusing on the future rather than just short-term gains, we celebrated small victories while coming out strong overall!

Not only did we expand our team this year, but we also saw a significant increase in both revenue and invoice numbers, reflecting our continued growth and success. Here’s to reaching even greater heights together!

Then vs Now: Our Humble Beginnings

Since our humble beginnings in 2016, we’ve taken a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve travelled together. From celebrating our first big win and hosting our internal BBQ, to establishing our first Service Desk and attending our first Cisco Live, we’ve truly come a long way!

Our team has grown exponentially, and we’re incredibly proud to have built such a robust company filled with driven, talented, and hardworking individuals. Every milestone we’ve achieved is a testament to the dedication and passion of our amazing team.

A decade with Outcomex

This year, we also had the pleasure of celebrating four incredible employees who reached their 10-year milestone with Outcomex. Their dedication and commitment are a testament to our company culture, which inspires such passionate and driven team members.

Internet of Things (IoT)

During EOFY2023-24, we’ve launched some new sensors!

• Aether sensor 
• Microclimate sensor
• Pest and Insect sensor 
• Plant monitor 
• Animal counter/monitoring 

This past year has been phenomenal for our international growth! We’ve made significant strides in the global market, solidifying our presence in South Africa and Europe. To further expand our reach, we’ve begun publishing ads for Farmdeck in Spanish and Portuguese to connect with an even broader audience. 

Our team has been hard at work tailoring our IoT solutions to serve new industries. This year, we proudly introduced our IoT offerings to Emergency Services, Rental Properties, and Rail Safety, bringing innovative solutions to these vital sectors. 

And that’s not all—stay tuned as we are about to launch an e-shop for Farmdeck! Keep an eye on our social media channels for exciting updates and announcements.

Spreading the word!

We’ve taken our digital presence to new levels! We proudly launched new Instagram pages for both Outcomex and Farmdeck, allowing us to engage more dynamically with our communities.  

In addition, we’ve been busy publishing 12 new IoT brochures, showcasing our industry-leading solutions and services. We’re excited to continue spreading the word about what we do best and reaching new heights in the coming year!

Looking back on EOFY2023-24

While the team had a busy year, we always made time to set aside work and engage in office social events such as:

• International Women’s Day 
• Bring Your Kids to Work Easter Fun Day 
• Our monthly team lunches in the Sydney office
• Opening of our innovation hub (watch this space for an upcoming blog!)

We also hosted 2 customer events, 2 vendor events, and had yet another successful Cisco Live! In December 2023.

What’s still to come

We’re thrilled about another amazing Cisco Live! Last year, our team made quite the impression with limited edition bag tags, hilarious t-shirts, and IoT games, all part of our biggest customer event of the year!
